Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Salvador Leu, operating as Ajja Sonic ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal data in connection with SFL Kit (the "Software") and our website sdk.ajjasonic.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data Controller
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
Salvador Leu
Operating as Ajja Sonic
Switzerland
Email: support@ajjasonic.com
3. Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data:
At purchase: Your name, email address and, if you give one, your company name, together with what you bought. Payment is processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record — we do not receive or store your card details or full payment information.
For license management: Your email address, license key, and machine identifiers (an ID created by the Software and the computer's name) for the devices on which you activate the Software, with the dates and IP addresses of activations. This data is necessary to enforce the license terms and allow you to manage your activations. Your licensee details are also included in the SDK made for your license.
From the Software: The Software periodically contacts our license server to verify your license status. This communication transmits your email address, license key and a machine identifier. No project data, code, keys you generate, customer data of your own products, or other personal content is collected or transmitted by the Software.
Your account: If you set up an account, your email address and a securely hashed password, to let you see your licenses and computers and download what you bought.
Mailing list: Your email address, only if you chose to receive news. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
Download statistics: When you download an installer, we record which file was downloaded and when. We do not store your IP address for this: a short anonymous code, derived from your connection and changing every day, is used only to count unique downloads.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
To process your purchase and deliver your license and your SDK. To manage license activations and deactivations across your machines. To verify your license status via periodic checks from the Software. To provide customer support. To send important notices about the Software, such as updates, security fixes or changes to these terms. To send news, only if you opted in. To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt in. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Contract performance: Processing your purchase, managing your license, delivering the SDK and providing the Software requires us to process your name, email, and machine identifiers.
Legitimate interest: License verification, fraud prevention and protecting the SDK against unauthorised distribution are necessary to protect our business and our customers.
Consent: For the newsletter. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link.
Legal obligation: Keeping records we must keep by law, for example for accounting.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
Paddle.com — our reseller and Merchant of Record, for payments, invoices, taxes and refunds. Paddle processes your payment data as an independent controller. See: paddle.com/legal/privacy
Postmark (ActiveCampaign) — to send our emails (license keys, account emails, notices and newsletters). See: postmarkapp.com/privacy-policy
Our web host (Switzerland) — stores this website and its database.
They process your data only to provide their service to us. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties, except where required by law.
7. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work, for example to keep you logged in to your account, and no tracking or advertising cookies. The Paddle checkout sets its own cookies when you buy.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request deletion of your data and no longer hold an active license, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. License verification and this website use encrypted connections (HTTPS), and account passwords are stored only as secure hashes. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you. Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data. Delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements. Restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances. Object to processing based on legitimate interest. Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format. Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@ajjasonic.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if applicable, your local EU supervisory authority.
11. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside Switzerland, for example Paddle in the United Kingdom and Postmark in the United States. Where data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses recognised by the FDPIC and the European Commission, or certification under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks where the provider is certified.
12. Children's Privacy
The Software is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
